COVO ENGINEERING REFERENCE
Request a Press Brake Tooling Quote
Start a COVO tooling inquiry directly on WhatsApp or by email, without completing a form. A drawing, product photo or simple question is enough to begin the conversation. Machine details, material, thickness and quantity can be confirmed with the team before a quotation is issued.

Custom tooling engineering review checklist
Start with a drawing, a photo or a question. You do not need every answer to contact us. For a detailed tooling review, these six inputs help define what must be checked before a quotation or drawing is approved.
Machine & clamping
Machine brand and model; upper and lower clamping interface; usable working length, open height and capacity from the machine documentation.
Part geometry
A dimensioned PDF, DXF or STEP file, or a clear section sketch. Mark bend sequence, inside radii, short flanges, return flanges and part-removal constraints.
Sheet material
Material grade, thickness range and strength data when available. Identify coatings, grain direction and which surfaces must remain unmarked.
Tooling setup
Existing punch and die references or profile drawings; tool height, die opening, required length, segmentation and any adapters or holders.
Acceptance criteria
Critical angles, radii and dimensions with tolerances; how the released part will be measured and the first-piece approval requirements.
Production scope
Quantity, batch size, repeat-order needs and requested delivery destination. State any open assumptions that should be confirmed before manufacture.
From drawing to an agreed tooling scope
- Check whether a standard catalog tool can meet the requirement.
- Review interface, working height, forming sequence, clearance and part removal for a custom solution.
- Confirm open assumptions, machine/tool load limits and an acceptance plan with the buyer.
- Agree the quotation and drawing scope before manufacture; verify the setup with a controlled first piece.
This checklist is for inquiry preparation, not a machine-specific tooling approval or a load rating. Final selection requires the actual machine documentation, tool limits and part data.

What happens after submission?
- COVO reviews whether a standard product matches the request.
- For custom work, the team checks forming sequence, collision clearance and removal.
- Open technical assumptions are confirmed with the buyer.
- The quotation or drawing reference is issued for review.
No public price is shown because tool length, segmentation, material, profile and order requirements affect the final scope.
